ABOUT TIM

Hi! I'm Tim Ehrenberg and I live on Nantucket Island in Massachusetts. I have loved books before I could even talk. Now I started "Tim Talks Books" as a way to connect with readers and my favorite authors. I'm the Marketing Director for Nantucket Book Partners, Nantucket's two independent bookstores. I also handle the marketing for the Nantucket Book Festival and I'm a contributor to N, Nantucket's lifestyle magazine, where I write a monthly "Need to Read" column of book picks.
I love a good whodunnit. Literary mysteries are my jam. My favorite classic is East of Eden by John Steinbeck. Some of my favorite books of all time are The Heart's Invisible Furies by John Boyne, The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón, Wally Lamb epics like I Know This Much is True, all of Stephen King's books, but especially 11/22/63, and I love the social issue fiction of Jodi Picoult, Nineteen Minutes being a favorite.
I love books with time travel in them. I was a history major in college, so I am particularly fascinated with any books about the Kennedy assassination, the Titanic, and 9/11. I like big books, (and I cannot lie). Seriously, though, I love a long book with hundreds and hundreds of pages to get lost in. I am a Harry Potter nut, love a beach read from Elin Hilderbrand, and I could read Agatha Christie books over and over.
I love bookstores and they are definitely my happy place. I might actually be clinically obsessed with books (self-diagnosis.) Thank you for checking out my site.
Happy Reading!
~ Tim
